Our Bariatric Assure Med-Surg, general patient and ICU/CCU hospital bed mattresses are multi-layered, multi-density for optimal comfort and postural support. With a 1.8 density 45 ILD core and two 3 wide FirmEdge passive restraint system sides this mattress is perfect for those longer stays and high risk patients. These mattresses are made with a Nymed™ healthcare nylon removable top cover and a Vynmed™ healthcare vinyl removable bottom cover.
All of our mattresses come with a 12 month standard Warranty and meets California Technical Bulletin 121 and 16CFR part 1633 fire test requirements.

Removeable Coverwith heavy duty zipper on three sides which allows for internal mattress inspection and easy replacement. Also includes fluid protection flap over zipper which directs fluids over and away from the zipper area.
Nymed™ Health Care Grade Nylon Top Cover has a built-in polyurethane back coating which provides additional liquid resistance. The coating process prevents the cover from becoming brittle so that the cover stays soft. This cover is flame resistant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antistatic, non-allergenic, non-irritating, and is latex free.
Secondary Fluid Barrier assembled between foam and cover providing a unique protection; if the outer layer is compromised, foam is still protected
Fire Barrier Protective Layer assembled between the cover and foam provides an additional layer of fire protection which helps this mattress meet California Technical Bulletin 129 and CFR 1633
