Good Dog Mattress specializes in beds for large - to very large dog breeds. Our Good Dog Mattresses are made in the USA from US virgin foam (new, not recycled). We use sturdy fabrics that are 100% Nylon faced with cotton polyester backing. They are soft to the touch yet repel fur buildup. All of our Good Dog Mattresses are designed with a waterproof inner liner that prevents the foam inside from becoming dirty or wet. Our micro suede fabric cover resists pet hair from clinging to it.

Good Dog Mattress was created from the great idea of our very own Black Lab, Sammy Lou. Years ago she started going to work with my husband, John (owner NAMC). Sam has always enjoyed roaming the plant freely and being spoiled by his employees. She had several commercially made pet beds spread throughout the plant - just in case she wanted a quiet spot to nap.
Early one morning, while it was still rather dark, I began looking for Sam. What I found in the darkness startled me - then made me laugh! I looked across the room and saw a large foam bean bag that blinked at me! Just two big eyes staring back from a comfy mound of foam!
Sam found her comfort zone in one of John's latest creations. We could not keep Sam out of that foam bean bag. The trouble was due to her size and age, she couldn't get out of it as easy as she got in. So we made her, her very own… sort of a hybrid beanbag-dog bed… and she loved it. We eventually replaced all her old commercial beds with the new models... Good Dog Mattresses!

Even a good dog will bring his day's fun home with him! That means from time to time you will want to wash his dog bed cover. The Good Dog Mattress is designed with a waterproof inner liner that prevents the foam inside from becoming dirty or wet. Our micro suede fabric cover resists pet hair from clinging to it.
SIMPLE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Vacuum off the outer cover with the nozzle attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
2. Unzip the outer cover and remove it.
3. After removing the cover, zip it back up before placing it in the washing machine.
4. Wash on warm/cold cycle. Use standard laundry soap - DO NOT use bleach.
5. Dry on air/fluff setting. DO NOT use high heat.
6. Unzip, replace cover over your mattress, re-zip and your good dog will have a nice fresh bed
